a) Job Specifications

Duties and responsibilities: -

  1. Handling customer complaints;
  2. Updating and managing the Service's website and social media accounts;
  3. Keeping a data book of complaints and ensuring prompt responses in line with the Communication policy;
  4. Maintaining of customer and stakeholders' database;
  5. Maintain photo/media database to ease retrieval;
  6. Coordinate taking photos during events and special visits;
  7. Ensure protocol and courtesy is observed;
  8. Monitoring responses from other departments.

b) Persons Specification

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -

  1. Four (4) years relevant work experience;
  2. Diploma in Journalism, Mass Communication, Public Relations or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
  3. Excellent Communication skills;
  4. Interpersonal skills;
  5. Report writing skills;
  6. Proficiency in Computer Applications;
  7. Compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.

  5. Negotiation skills; and
  6. Problem solving skills.
