a) Job Specifications
Duties and responsibilities: -
- Assisting in Drafting and verification of routine correspondences;
- Assisting in Processing payroll;
- Assisting in Collating and analysing training applications;
- Assisting in Processing employee recruitment, promotion and exit documents;
- Assisting in processing of leave applications, sick sheets and sick offs;
- Updating of Staff Medical details, National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) and National Social Security Fund (NSSF) records;
- Maintaining complement control;
- Carrying out leave administration;
- Updating human resource database; and
- Analysing data on work environment and employees' satisfaction surveys.
b) Persons Specification
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -
- Degree in Social Sciences/Human Resource Management/Business Administration or other relevant course from a university recognized in Kenya;
- CHRP II or an equivalent relevant qualification from an institution recognized in Kenya;
- Membership in a relevant professional body in good standing;
- Meets the provisions of the Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.
c) Skills
- Proficiency in computer applications;
- Communication Skills;
- Analytical Skills;
- Keen to details.
d) Competencies
- Knowledge of Human Resource Management systems.
- Knowledge of national labour laws.
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Ability to work independently and in a team;
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work;
- Demonstrated results in work performance;
- Demonstrated ability to implement Quality Management Systems;
- A track-record of excellent time management skills.
